This projects consists of the following components:
- A 66-inch diameter, 6,830-lineal-foot pipeline
- The pipeline will include pipe connections to
Segments 2 and 3 pipeline projects.
- The pipeline will include the construction of a
parallel four-inch diameter fiber optic conduit along its
length, with pull boxes.
- A flow control facility consisting of motorized flow
isolation valves and vault, energy dissipating sleeve
valves, water quality sampling, flow meters, a new
building, overhead hoists, and other appurtenances.
- A surge control facility consisting of motorized
flow isolation valves and vaults for the 66-inch diameter
pipeline and a 72-inch diameter pipeline, flow meter for
the 72-inch diameter pipeline, surge-control tank, standby
generator power to the site, site security systems, site
paving, water quality monitoring, circulation piping and
pumps, and other operational appurtenances.
- Air release and vacuum facilities, cathodic-protection
test stations, fiber optic conduit systems, and other
appurtenant pipeline features.
