| Work Performed: | Freeport Regional Water Authority (FRWA) awarded the contract of $58,490,821 Freeport Pipeline Facilities – Segment 2 to Steve P. Rados, Inc. Work primarily consists of the construction of approximately 6.7 miles of 84-inch diameter raw water pipeline, including two trenchless undercrossing and main pipe drain structure. Work also consists of the construction and landscaping of medians, traffic signals, and other road improvements along the pipeline alignment. Work is located in south Sacramento County, California. Pipeline alignment extends from Power Inn Road to Elsie Avenue, along Elsie Avenue to Wilbur Way, along Wilbur Way to Gerber Road, and along Gerber Road to Vineyard Road. Ameron International is supplying the 84-inch diameter steel pipe for this project. Work started in June of 2007 with the relocation and potholing of existing utilities. Pipeline work started on September 10, 2007 and will continue till Spring of 2009. |
