Steve P. Rados, Inc. personnel are active in the support of industry groups and the general community. Alex Rados was awarded the 12th Annual Engineering Contractor Association DIG (Dignity, Integrity, and Generosity) Award in 1999 for his lifetime achievements in the construction industry. Alex is a past President of the Beavers, a national construction industry group dedicated both to the recognition of accomplishment in the industry and to the support of construction education. Wally chairs two industry trust funds which fund a broad range of programs and projects designed to advance construction in California. Wally Rados also is a member of the Board of Directors of The Beavers (an organization formed, organized and managed by the construction companies and individuals who are or have engaged in heavy-engineering construction). Steve Rados is currently the chairman of the Caltrans A.G.C. District Liaison Committee. A number of SPR executives have held leadership positions in the AGC of California. These include chairmanships of the Heavy and Highway Engineering Division, the Southern California Collective Bargaining Committee, the Equal Opportunity Committee, and the Safety Committee.
